Community Action Food Bank
St. Peter's Church members
are reminded that each month we collect food for our local
Community Action Food Bank. These contributions are used to
provide food for people in need in Fayette County.
During the 6 weeks of Lent we will be collecting food items
for the Food Bank in a different manner. We are calling
that time period, “Let’s Make a Meal.”
Each week we ask you to bring at least one of the specific
items designated for that week. And we ask that you bring
it with you into the sanctuary. The Sunday School children
will collect those items during announcement time. The food
items with then be displayed in the sanctuary for all of
the Sundays of Lent.
As always, monetary donations are also welcome. You can place the donation in the regular offering on Sunday or mail it to the church office. Indicate that is is for the "Community Action Food Bank."
