During Holy Week, the most sacred week in all Christendom, our worship will revolve around the theme, “The Faith of the Servant of God.”
Passion Sunday: The Servant Steps Forward
The order for the “Blessing of the Palms,” the reading of the “Passion According to St. Matthew,” and Holy Communion will be celebrated as Holy Week begins.
Maundy Thursday: The Servant Prepares
Worship begins with the sharing of a special “Seder Meal” which begins at 6:00pm in the Social Hall. It will be followed at approximately 7:15pm with the traditional liturgy of Holy Communion and the Stripping of the Altar.
GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP

A special liturgy filled with prayers, Bible readings, comforting hymns, darkness, and the tolling of bells will be part of our worship on this, the most solemn day for all believers and members of the St. Peter’s faith community. This service begins at 8:00pm. (Please note a later starting time due to Daylight Savings Time.)
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
The evening of Saturday, March 12 will be when we turn our clocks AHEAD. Mark your calendars now so that you won’t forget.

If you aren’t already collecting these box top logos for another school – please consider bringing them in for Glade Run Lutheran Services.
Collect box tops from your favorite grocery and toiletry items and bring them to the church and put them in the designated brown envelope attached to the bulletin board. Each box top represents 10 cents for St. Stephen’s Lutheran Academy. You’ll be surprised how quickly they add up! Thank you to all who have been faithful in bringing these box tops in.....Glade Run is very grateful
